The most valuable non-combat asset the HDF operates, and everyone who's ever seen one loaded knows it. One or two Mechs, up to 100 t combined, ride on a single continuous low deck built to distribute that weight over broken terrain. The ten-axle, 20×20 chassis gives the carrier its unmistakable length while movable restraints adapt the deck to each load. Losing an MMC-100 in transit doesn't just cost the vehicle—it costs whatever it was carrying.

Compact Posture, Adaptable Deck.
Operational Mechs may self-position into a lying or folded transport posture where conditions permit. Movable structural locks, clamps and support blocks secure each load without permanent cradles or a central divider. Disabled heavy Mechs require an SLV, gantry, crane or modular loading ramp when self-loading is impossible.
A Target By Design, Not Accident.
The MMC-100 cannot conceal its extreme length or the value of a loaded transport deck. Its protection therefore concentrates on the crew and critical systems while the deck remains comparatively exposed.
Transport, Not Recovery Crane.
The carrier's winches support controlled positioning and restraint; they do not free-lift a complete heavy Mech. A disabled load requires an SLV, depot or field gantry, crane support or a modular heavy loading ramp.
