Tactical Notes

Where the Recast economy starts. Every Parenco rebuild, every scavenged mech limb, every wreck worth stripping gets to the workshop because an SLV-20 crew dragged it there. Slower and heavier than the LUT-10, built around a crane and a winch instead of raw speed. Crews that run these long enough develop an eye for what's salvageable and what's scrap — a skill nobody teaches, only battlefield time does.

Engineering Assessment

Field Notes

Built Around Recovery, Not Cargo.

Unlike the LUT-10, the SLV-20 carries its crane, winches, power systems, tools and mission equipment on the chassis. Its 20 designation describes the rated recovery/support class, not an onboard cargo bed; heavy recovered loads move on a separate dedicated trailer or carrier.

The Recast Pipeline.

Every Parenco-rebuilt mech in the Settlement started its second life on the back of a truck like this one. Kelvros never advertises the connection, but it's an open secret that SLV-20 crews and Parenco procurement officers know each other by name.
