Background
Freedom before belonging.
Jeana was born on Cyndralis IV under the Bound system: educated, supplied and respected, but not legally free. When the man who controlled her status was executed for alleged rebellion, twelve-year-old Jeana used the opening to leave the planet and make her first independent choice.
On Cyndralis III she entered the 4th Auxiliary Battalion in Delcadare as an E-3 weapons technician. Her work centered on ordinary infantry weapons—issue, inspection, repair, ammunition and readiness. Command recognized her exceptional marksmanship but never allowed an outsider and former Bound to enter formal sniper specialization.
Years of institutional indifference eventually pushed Jeana out. A later attempt to find clearer structure among the Bandits ended in punishment and confinement. She escaped in a damaged Epilektos and crossed paths with Aurora, Valentina and Isabella in a snowstorm. She entered the Valkyries injured and unknown; she stayed by proving exactly who she was.
