01 // Independent non-state military cell

VALKYRIES

A sisterhood built around people, not institutions.

Born from flight and survival in the Rift, the Valkyries are not an army, militia or mercenary force. They are four women who chose loyalty to one another after the systems around them failed.

They have no state behind them, no formal territory and no established power base. What they do have is discipline, technical skill, four Mechs and the beginning of a shared purpose.

02 // Identity

No one is expendable.

The Valkyries exist because each of them reached the same conclusion by a different road: the institutions meant to protect them had failed.

Their loyalty is personal before it is political. No one is expendable. Discipline is functional, never humiliating. Authority is accepted when it has purpose and competence behind it. Freedom is the foundation; formal prestige earns nothing on its own.

They are not fighting for money, territory or dynastic power. At this stage, they are trying to survive, protect one another and help people the established order has abandoned.

03 // Origin

Four people.
A name that stayed.

The Valkyries did not begin as an organization.

Aurora Belt and Valentina Embers fled into the Rift after the convoy incident. Isabella Fyrn joined them after her own break with the military system. Jeana Hayek became the fourth after her rescue.

For a time they were simply four women, four machines and an improvised refuge hidden inside old mine infrastructure.

The name came later. Torban, leader of the Street Runners, compared them to the Valkyries of old Terran legend. It was no formal military title. The name stayed.

Aurora is only beginning to turn their survival into something larger.

Support
Limited / covert

The Valkyries are dangerous because of quality, not numbers.

Their equipment is limited, their logistics fragile and their position insecure. Every damaged Mech, every lost supply cache and every injury matters.

They survive through mobility, technical improvisation, local contacts and the fact that their enemies still underestimate how quickly four people can become a serious problem.

06 // Machines

Four machines. Their fighting strength.

07 // Contacts

Help from outside.

Independent contacts. None are members of the cell.

Covert support
Frédérique Solarna

Quiet material and technical support.

Informal ally
Torban Tigarian / Street Runners

Local intelligence and contacts.

Contact
Fiona Langham

A covert information source.

08 // Current Threat

The Valkyries are hunted.

Krastan Vel Orun wants control of the situation they escaped from. HDF forces under his effective control, Mortasky and bandit proxy forces represent an overwhelming conventional threat.

The Valkyries cannot win a direct war. Their survival depends on remaining difficult to find, difficult to predict and too costly to eliminate cleanly.
